Revisiting a post from May

Back in May, when I wrote The Real Economy III: The People’s GDP some reader dared ignoring the data and saying something on the vein of “when I see something called “the people’s” I know it is going to be wrong”.

I guess it was some of those who really thought the economy was sound, while I was sounding a small warning horn. That’s fair, I guess. After all I am just yet another blogger and what I say don’t matter much.

What should matter though, is that when you see something that challenges your assumptions, you should leave the party line aside and ask yourself what is actually going on. Above all, when that challenge is supported by data, and facts.

OK. Enough pointless ranting. Goo nite.
